Given the resources currently available, we have found that online tutoring is actually more effective than traditional methods, and it is absurd to consider teaching any class without an online component. Full-motion video, together with shared graphics whiteboard shared text editing, and the ability to review all material whenever and as often as desired all make online classes and online tutoring an ideal option. Indeed, a 12-year meta-analysis of research by the U.S. Department of Education found that higher education students in online learning environments performed better than those in traditional classrooms.
