Sky Mountain Classes
Sky Mountain Charter School is an independent study public charter school serving California students who reside in a six-county area including San Bernardino, Inyo, Kern, Los Angeles, Orange, and Riverside counties. Sky Mountain provides and funds online and traditional classes for its members.
The following classes are approved and registerd with Sky Mountain
- Altebra 2 with trig
- Pre-calculus
- AP Cakculus
- AP Statistics
- Advanced Basic Math
- Multiplication and division skills, fractions, percents and decimals. Equivalent to 5th and 6th grade math.
- Consumer math
- Hands on activities to let students practice and strengthen their basic math skills in concrete real world situations. Along with money skills such as balancing a checkbook, calculating tips and taxes, the class will be working with symmetry, time, charts, graphs and scale drawings. There will be a strong emphasis on problem solving, logical reasoning and estimation.
